At Biban Global, Tech Revolt spoke to Husam Sendi, Founder and CEO of Logexa, a Saudi-born logistics startup aiming to modernise how small and medium enterprises manage their warehousing needs. Positioned as the first on-demand warehousing platform in the Kingdom, Logexa is addressing a longstanding challenge facing SMEs: the high cost and inflexibility of traditional storage contracts.
For decades, warehousing in Saudi Arabia has largely relied on long-term agreements, minimum volume commitments and fixed overheads—structures that often leave SMEs overpaying for unused space. Sendi says this legacy model simply doesn’t match the operational reality of small businesses, where storage needs fluctuate dramatically throughout the year.
Logexa’s solution is built around an aggregation model that brings together available warehouse space across the Kingdom. Companies can access storage on a pay-as-you-go basis, paying only for the exact volume they use. “If you have one pallet, you pay for it. If you don’t, you pay nothing,” Sendi explains. This flexibility removes the financial burden of long-term commitments and allows SMEs to adapt quickly to demand spikes or slow periods without carrying unnecessary overheads.
At the core of Logexa’s offering is its growing technological infrastructure. The platform integrates directly with service providers to pull live data on warehouse capacity. When a business submits a storage request, the system automatically matches it with available space in seconds. This real-time functionality eliminates guesswork and reduces the manual back-and-forth typically associated with logistics coordination.
Sendi says that integration was only the first step. Logexa is now moving to fully digitise its operations, a shift he believes will unlock higher accuracy, smoother workflows and new features that benefit both warehouse operators and customers. The company emphasises data safety as a fundamental part of this development, ensuring that any future enhancements meet strict security standards.
The long-term goal, Sendi notes, is for Logexa to evolve into a one-stop logistics platform—an ecosystem where SMEs can manage all their warehousing, fulfilment and storage requirements in one place. By lowering entry barriers and removing wasteful costs, he believes on-demand warehousing can play a significant role in strengthening the SME sector, a key engine of Saudi Arabia’s broader economic growth.
As Vision 2030 accelerates business formation and industrial expansion across the Kingdom, Logexa’s model offers a timely alternative for companies seeking scalability without the burden of traditional logistics infrastructure.
