Web Summit Qatar has announced that its startup programme for 2026 is officially sold out, with more than 1,600 startups from across the globe confirmed to attend. The event floor has also reached full capacity, with leading international companies including IBM, TikTok, Microsoft, Huawei, Qatar Airways, Snapchat and others confirmed as partners.
With demand continuing to rise, Web Summit expects overall attendance to reach full capacity in the coming weeks, reinforcing the event’s position as one of the most significant technology gatherings in the region.
Returning to Doha for its third edition, Web Summit Qatar will take place at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) from February 1 to February 4, 2026. The event highlights Qatar’s growing role as a regional and global technology hub, driven by smart-city innovation, digital transformation initiatives, and economic diversification beyond oil.
Thousands of entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers and industry leaders are expected to gather to explore how technology can address real-world challenges, including financial inequality, healthcare access and climate resilience. These discussions reflect Web Summit’s broader mission to bring together people and ideas capable of delivering meaningful global impact.
From Lisbon to Doha, Vancouver and Rio de Janeiro, Web Summit has evolved into the world’s largest technology and innovation event series, bringing together founders, global decision-makers, researchers, cultural figures and government leaders from across sectors.
Web Summit Qatar 2026 is expected to welcome more than 30,000 attendees from over 120 countries, alongside more than 700 investors and 600 members of the international media.
A Web Summit spokesperson said: “We’re delighted to see an unprecedented level of interest in Web Summit Qatar 2026, especially from the startups which represent the future of technology.
“Web Summit has always been the place where you meet the next decade’s most influential people: and with our unique combination of founders, investors and leaders across every sector, it is uniquely placed to help drive technological and economic progress.”
Artificial intelligence will be central to many of the conversations shaping this year’s agenda, influencing industries including healthcare, finance, energy, sport, creativity and space. At Web Summit Qatar 2026, discussions will focus on who is steering AI’s development, how it is being funded, and how organisations can extract real value from the technology.
The programme will also examine how technology is reshaping content creation and consumption, with a strong presence of content creators, media executives and creative leaders. As AI changes how content is produced and distributed, new strategies are emerging to cut through digital noise and reach global audiences.
Beyond AI, the event will explore the rise of quantum computing and its expanding influence, alongside innovation in fintech, energy, government, health and manufacturing.
Web Summit Qatar will feature 14 specialised tracks, including the AI Summit, Fintech Summit, New Energy Summit, Government Summit, Sport Summit, Machine Summit and Health Summit, each designed to address the most pressing questions facing their respective industries.
