The latest issue of Tech Revolt is now live, bringing together a diverse range of perspectives shaping the future of technology across the Middle East and beyond.

At the centre of this edition is our Cover Story, featuring the second edition of the Cyber Warriors Powerlist — a recognition of 20 of the most impactful cybersecurity companies and leaders operating across the region today. As digital adoption accelerates across industries, the need for stronger, more adaptive security frameworks has never been more critical.

This year’s list highlights organisations that are actively strengthening digital resilience and redefining how enterprises approach cybersecurity. Congratulations to companies including Palo Alto Networks, SentinelOne, SANS Institute, ManageEngine, Tenable, BeyondTrust, Censys, Microsoft, and Sophos, among others, who continue to push the boundaries of cyber defence in an increasingly complex threat landscape.

Beyond cybersecurity, this issue features insights from global technology players driving enterprise transformation across the region. SUSE takes centre stage through a conversation with Ismail Ibrahim, General Manager for CEMEA, who highlights how enterprise infrastructure and open-source innovation are supporting sustained digital growth across the GCC. The discussion reflects a broader shift towards scalable, flexible technology ecosystems that can support both public and private sector ambitions.

We also explore the evolving startup landscape through perspectives emerging from STEP Dubai. In conversation with Ray Dargham, Co-founder and CEO of STEP, the issue unpacks how founders and investors are navigating today’s funding environment. With capital becoming more selective, the focus has shifted towards sustainable growth, stronger fundamentals, and long-term value creation within the region’s startup ecosystem.

In light of International Women's Day, this edition also places a strong emphasis on thought leadership from women shaping the future of technology and policy. Contributors such as Dr. Hajar El Haddaoui, Director-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization, Esraa Khatab, Assistant Professor in Mathematical and Computer Sciences at Heriot-Watt University Dubai, and Christiana Maxion, Founder and CEO of MAXION, share powerful op-ed perspectives.

Their contributions examine critical issues including the widening gender gap in technology, barriers to leadership representation, and the ongoing challenges within women’s health innovation. More importantly, these pieces move beyond surface-level discussion, offering grounded analysis and forward-looking insights into how these gaps can be addressed at both policy and industry levels.

Collectively, this issue reflects a region that is not standing still. From cybersecurity and enterprise infrastructure to startups and social impact, the conversations featured in Tech Revolt point to an ecosystem that is actively evolving — one that is balancing rapid innovation with the need for resilience, inclusivity, and long-term sustainability.

As always, the goal remains clear: to cut through the noise and focus on the ideas, people, and organisations that are genuinely shaping what comes next.
