Indo Security Expo & Forum is reinforcing its position as Indonesia’s leading security industry platform by expanding its global engagement and drawing international insights to support national security development. The latest effort saw the Indo Security team attend a major international security event in Dubai from 12–14 January 2026.

The visit formed part of a strategic canvassing initiative aimed at monitoring global industry trends, engaging with international stakeholders, and identifying emerging technologies shaping the future of the security sector. The timing is significant, as Indonesia faces a rapidly evolving threat landscape, particularly in the digital domain.

Data from the National Cyber and Encryption Agency (BSSN) underscores the scale of the challenge. Indonesia recorded 3.64 billion cyberattack attempts between January and July 2025, signalling a sharp rise in digital threats and system vulnerabilities. Of these incidents, 83.68% were malware-based attacks, followed by 4.32% unauthorised access attempts and 0.64% system exploitation cases, pointing to widespread exposure across multiple sectors.

Against this backdrop, Indo Security’s international engagement is aimed at strengthening partnerships, observing future-ready security solutions, and bringing back insights that can support industry resilience and national preparedness. Continuous exposure to global developments enables the platform to remain aligned with emerging threats and evolving security requirements, while supporting collaboration between public and private stakeholders through its exhibition and forum.

Proven Growth and Strong Outlook Toward 2026

Indo Security, alongside Indo Firex, Indonesia International Smart City (IISMEX), Indo Water, Indo Waste & Recycling, and Indo Renergy & Electric Expo & Forum, has continued to record steady growth with each edition. The 2025 event marked a significant milestone, attracting 620 participants from 26 countries, featuring 12 international country pavilions, and delivering notable expansion in exhibition space.

Looking ahead, the 13th edition of Indonesia’s No. 1 International Security Event will return as part of this integrated, large-scale exhibition from 11–13 August 2026 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta. The event is expected to create expanded opportunities for cross-sector collaboration, knowledge exchange, and business networking across Indonesia’s security ecosystem.
